The piece in the pictures is typical of a traditional rustic cabinet, as would be utilised on a farm in Lombardy around the nineteenth century, which was transformed into a vanity unit by adding a basin, a mirror and 6 shelves at either side of the mirror itself. A smaller unit to conceal the cistern and house a toilet pan, built to match the vanity unit is also available. Our units are made with reclaimed timber and darkened using only natural products, not chemical stains or dyes. The gleaming finish is obtained by applying several coats of a craft gloss varnish, based on premium quality resins and is waterproof.
